When she’s not at HD you can usually find her on or near rocks – jumping off of them on her skis, avoiding them while guiding friends through whitewater, biking over them, or climbing to the tops of them.

  • Debbie Asmus - Yoga Instructor

Debbie began college as a dance major and studied anatimy and physiology, and then after a dance injury she discovered Yoga. She loved the way it allowed her to use her body in a strong and graceful way but without the pain ballet was causing. From there she decided to move to Boulder to go to Massage Therapy school. As a 30 year practitioner of massage, Debbie’s knowledge of the body is extensive and she carries that into her yoga and barre teachings. She is what one calls an alignment geek but is working on recovering from that:) After ‘retiring” from an active massage practice, Debbie became a personal trainer in 2018 to allow her to continue to help people with their physical bodies but in all honesty it is the mental and emotional changes that occur from working the physical body that she enjoys more than anything. Her barre classes draw from the basics of ballet teachings but incorporate strength and balance as well. Her yoga classes vary from beginners to beyond but always with an emphasis on safety, form and function.

In her spare time you will find Debbie on the water, kayaking or paddle boarding or hiking in the local mountains with her husband and new puppy as the kids are grown!

  • Naomi Landis - Group Fitness Instructor

Naomi, a former primate keeper for the St. Louis Zoo and graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, entered the world of fitness after having her son and finding the zoo hours impossible for their family dynamic. In 2010 she was certified at as personal trainer through the World Instructor Training School, in 2011 as a spinning Instructor through Madd Dog Athletics, and eventually this segued into a power yoga apprenticeship and subsequent certifications under Baron Baptiste and CorePower Yoga, as well as group fitness certification through the American Counsel on Exercise. In addition to spinning and power yoga, Naomi has experience teaching scripted hot yoga, bootcamp, barre, battle ropes, and floor pilates. When she is not training clients in her private studios, you can find her at CorePower Yoga where she teaches 6 yoga sculpts and 2 advanced power yoga classes each week, or with her 13 year old son exploring Colorado after moving here in 2019.

  • John Marosi - Group Fitness Instructor

John has been fascinated with operational fitness since early childhood, finding ways to transport his surfboard on a Huffy or skateboard to the beach in Southern California and still make good grades in school.

Having played varsity soccer and baseball in high school, John became hooked on the solo endurance sport of triathlon in the early years of the sport. Having completed over 250 career triathlons in multiple distance categories as an age-group amateur, John knows the value of well-balanced training including strength, mobility, nutrition and recovery.

After a tour in the Marines, John has actively enjoyed Colorado and the greater Southwest’s boundless hiking, climbing, kayaking, SUP, running, cycling and winter experiences. He has practiced and taught a wide range of fitness modalities for over 20 years, including CrossFit, kickboxing, yoga, jump rope, kettlebells, and HIIT. He brings his passion for movement into the group fitness environment by challenging every member to explore their practice with energy and tap into the power of the team.

He presents every person he works with the opportunity to not only recognize their capabilities and limitations, but to test both as much as possible in their pursuit of longevity.
